MAF:  Letter from the 46th Committee

10/1/2013

MAF2014
A letter from the 46th Mandarin Art Festival Committee announces the return of the art festival for 2014.  The Mandarin Community Club and Mandarin Art Festival committee are excited to gear up for this Easter tradition.  Mark your calendars for April 19-20, 2014.
October 2013

Dear Artist Exhibitors and Friends of the Mandarin Art Festival:

The Mandarin Art Festival returns on April 19-20, 2014 for the 46th year as an Easter weekend community tradition hosted by the Mandarin Community Club.

Local not for profit Mandarin Community Club, founder and host organization of the Mandarin Art Festival, will manage show operations with a team of dedicated volunteers. Each year the Festival Committee brings changes to the show designed to update operations and increase patronage thereby guaranteeing its success and that the show tradition continues into the future.

• The $25 jury fee will be waived for artist exhibitors who participated in the 2013 Mandarin Art Festival.
• Artist exhibitors who apply before March 1, 2014 pay a reduced booth fee of only $175. (Application fee will be $200 after March 1)
• New Mandarin Art Festival and Mandarin Community Club web pages and internet/social media promotion for increased advertising of the event.
• Free Wi-Fi available on the show grounds (subject to natural limitations beyond the control of MCC)

The Community Club Board and volunteers have maintained the Festival tradition through the years to become the longest continually running Festival in Northeast Florida. We are dedicated to continuing the legacy along with our exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers and civic partners.

Please join us in making the 2014 Festival another success for artist exhibitors and art loving patrons.

On behalf of the Art Festival Committee and the Mandarin Community Club...

Susie Scott
Chairperson, 46th Annual Mandarin Art Festival Committee
