MANDARIN ART FESTIVAL
One of the most outstanding achievements of the Mandarin Community Club is the annual Mandarin Art Festival held every Easter weekend since 1968. Founded in 1968 by Judge Westberry and a group of local artists, it's the longest running event of its kind in northeast Florida. Click here to learn more

LECTURE SERIES
The Third Thursday Lecture Series, a joint offering of the Mandarin Museum & Historical Society and the Mandarin Community Club, are conducted on a quarterly basis. Programs are held at the Mandarin Community Club. FLAG RETIREMENT
​In partnership with the SAR (Sons of the American Revolution), the Mandarin Community Club hosts an annual flag retirement ceremony to educate the community on the importance of proper disposal of worn and damaged flags.  Flags ready for retirement are collected at the Club leading up to the event date.

TREE GIVE AWAY
​Started Arbor Day 2017, this annual event hosted by the Mandarin Community Club, provides free trees to the Mandarin community to help mitigate the loss and damage of trees experienced during Hurricanes Matthew and Irma.  In addition, the Club partnered with Thompson Ace Hardware to provide on premise during the event plant sales, lawn & gardening supplies, and advice from their Master Gardener.

CANDIDATE FORUM
​During local election season, the Mandarin Community Club have hosted candidate forums to provide the public the opportunity to meet their candidates and ask questions regarding their community and city. These events are free and open to the public.

STORM PREPARATION
​Storm and weather preparation is an important part of living in northeast Florida.  The Mandarin Community Club has hosted public storm and weather alert preparation events for the members of the community.  These events have included guests speakers and local businesses from NOAA/National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, City of Jacksonville, American Red Cross, local meteorologists, Thompson Ace Hardware, and more.  These events are vital to preparing the community for the hurricane and storm season.

VETERANS DAY & WREATH-LAYING CEREMONY
​The Mandarin Community Club observes and honors our Veterans with a wreath-laying ceremony held within the Billard Commemorative Park around Veterans Day. This brief ceremony is normally held Sunday before Veterans Day, unless noted.  This event is free and open to the public.

COMMUNITY TREE LIGHTING EVENT
Thousands of twinkling lights on a giant live Christmas tree, luminaries lighting the night throughout Mandarin, and the community coming together to welcome the holiday season in historic Mandarin. This annual event was created in 2020 as a drive-in event to bring some holiday spirit and hope back to the community during the pandemic. Since its inception it has been become a new tradition the Club and community. This event is free and open to the public.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING & HOLIDAY EVENT
The Mandarin Community Club hosts an annual membership meeting & holiday event at the Club.  The new slate of board members and officers are presented during the annual event for the following year at the Club.  General elections take place in November.  Members and their guests turn out for this annual tradition as we wrap-up the year.

The Mandarin Community Club is an independent, not for profit organization open to all, especially those who live in the Mandarin area.  The Club is dedicated to the preservation and beautification of Mandarin, to providing educational forums and enhancing the cultural and recreational life of the area and to maintaining its three historic properties.
