The new, permanent sign was recently installed at the Billard Commemorative Park. The style and coloring mirrors the main "Mandarin Community Club" sign on Mandarin Road. Funding was through the proceeds from the prize drawings held at the Mandarin Art Festival the past three years. Our thanks to Mary Ann and Mark of Sign-A-Rama for their design assistance and to our Park Committee: Jack Avery, Wanda Bosworth, Chris Buckley, and Lynn Cuda, for their work on this project.
Other projected improvements to the Park include an historical marker, additional planting in the butterfly garden, stone edging to the butterfly garden, and two additional benches.
The Buy A Brick Program was initiated when the Park opened in 2007 and is still active. Personalized bricks are available for purchase and can be place in your choice of three locations within the Billard Park. To support our Park projects and maintenance, please complete and mail in the Buy A Brick form today. Your support is greatly appreciated!
