The last Third Thursday Lecture Series for 2014 will take place on November 20 and will feature Ed Gamble. An award-winning cartoonist, Ed has been nationally syndicated and his cartoons have been published in newspapers and exhibits all over the United States and the world, including overseas in China and at the American Center in Karachi, Pakistan. His topic for the evening will be "Jacksonville Politics Through the Eyes of a Cartoonist!"
As with all other lectures in the series, it will be held at the Mandarin Community Club building and is sponsored jointly by the Mandarin Museum & Historical Society and Mandarin Community Club. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 PM and the program promptly at 7 PM. For further information, call 904-268-0784. The event is free and open to the public.
