The Mandarin Community Club marked the start of the countdown to our 100th anniversary with a celebration held at the Club on Saturday, July 2nd. The date coincided with the Club's 99th birthday.
Thank you to all who attended in support of the Club, its mission, and this important milestone. We would also like to acknowledge and thank the following businesses for their contribution to the event.
Gates will open at 5 PM and a food vendor will be available for those that want to arrive, find a parking spot and grab some light dinner. NOTE: For the safety of all, the gates will close to vehicles just prior to the 6:30 PM Tree Lighting or when parking capacity is reached.
SANTA IS COMING! Santa will be on site AND a special letters to Santa mailbox will be at the Club if you miss him at the Tree Lighting and need to get that list to the North Pole! The Club is also selling luminary kits and encouraging everyone to LIGHT THE NIGHT and show their love for Mandarin! “LUM = Light Up Mandarin” with your luminary kit for sale before and during the Tree Lighting event. And get ready for Santa’s arrival on the night of December 24th by buying a pack of REINDEER FOOD which will be sold as a fundraiser for the Club. LUMINARY KITS: To purchase your luminary kits call Mark at 904-704-6787 or the Mandarin Community Club at 904-268-1622 WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! Each kits consists of 10 white bags, 10 battery operated tealights, and sand for only $10. LET’S LIGHT THE NIGHT! We are incredibly thankful to Paul at Hines Printing, Promo, & Embroidery for working to create these awesome Mandarin hats. While we are not open everyday of the week, if you’d like a hat you can message us and we will arrange for a way to meet with you to purchase and pick up. We also partner with the Mandarin Museum & Historical Society where they sell the Mandarin hat in their gift shop on Saturdays. Hats come in 4 different colors: khaki, green, blue, and white. They’re priced at $20. Pictured below are the new hats hot off the press with Paul and MCC Board Member, Brett.
